Subsequent to the preview earlier in the month, BMW Malaysia now has confirmed the official pricing of the new BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport. This locally assembled plug-in hybrid comes with a price tag of RM486,800 (on the road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia).
This Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), also called The Boss, marks a significant addition to BMW Group’s premium lineup of locally assembled vehicles for the Malaysian market. The new BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport boasts substantial enhancements in performance and efficiency. With increased power and an improved electric driving range, this PHEV seamlessly combines a 3.0L straight-6 petrol engine with an electric motor to provide a combined output of 489 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The result is a swift 0 – 100 km/h sprint of just 4.8 seconds. Notably, the electric driving capability receives a significant boost, with an electric range of up to 110 km (WLTP). Charging capacity is also an improved rate of 7.4 kW, enabling a full charge from 0 – 100% in 4.5 hours.
For those interested in financing a new BMW X5, BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia offers the Easy Drive Financing Plan with monthly installment plans starting from RM6,014 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a 5-year tenure). This is after a RM10,000 Easy Drive Cash Rebate (valid until 31 March 2024, with terms and conditions applying).
Owners of the new BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport will also receive the complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience, including BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, as well as BMW Service Online.
Buyers of the new BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport can also opt for the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package which consists of a 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service Package at an additional RM41,300.
