Porsche Malaysia Joins Krithin Paul Pereira To Support More Dreamers
Porsche Malaysia first met Krithin Paul Pereira at the opening of Porsche Club Malaysia’s office at Porsche Centre Sungai Besi in Kuala Lumpur, and the relationship has been strengthening. Krithin, an artist who is passionate about Porsche, was then invited to several key Porsche Malaysia events, including the launch of the first local assembly facility for Porsche outside of Europe, in Kulim, Kedah as well as the launch of the locally assembled Porsche Cayenne.
Krithin who is also a designer and engineer, lives with Cerebral Palsy, a motor disability. But his fascination for sports cars and his tenacious spirit are evident. Like the Porsche Cayenne, his artwork also went “Further Together”. At the Cayenne launch, proceeds from sales of t-shirts emblazoned with his unique drawing of the Cayenne were contributed to Amirs Therapy Gym, a rehabilitation centre where Krithin also received his support. This was to show appreciation for the gym that helped him with his mobility.
Joining hands with Porsche Malaysia, Krithin is committed to doing his part to motivate and empower others with similar challenges to perservere and follow their dreams, through this initiative.
“I’d like to thank the Porsche Malaysia team for this opportunity. Amirs Therapy Gym holds a special place in my heart, as they helped me build my physical and mental strength. Despite all the challenges in life, I always tell myself that I can do it because I am a dreamer without limits, and I want to help others in bringing their dreams to life too,” said Krithin Paul Pereira.
“We’re really touched to see where Krithin is right now, he has come a long way. It is truly a proud moment to be a part of his growth and we are grateful for the support of Porsche Malaysia in making dreams come true,” said Fezia Tyebally, co-founder of Amirs Therapy Gym.
“Ever since I met Krithin, he has inspired us in so many ways. We’re delighted to have him with us for the launch of the new Cayenne in Malaysia and now, we are excited to continue this journey together to empower more dreamers,” shared Christopher Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Auto Performance, representing Porsche Malaysia.
Like how Ferry Porsche set out to build the sports car of his dreams more than 75 years ago, Krithin Paul Pereira is also driven by dreams. His art pieces have touched the hearts of many, including being recognised by Porsche AG with an invitation to visit the heart of the brand in Stuttgart, where he interacted with designers and experienced the thrill of a 911 GT3 at the Hockenheimring.
Krithin is single-minded in the pursuit of his dreams. Together with Porsche Malaysia, he hopes to blaze a trail for others who share his ethos: Without Limits.
