GWM Malaysia Opens 4S Centre In Sarawak
GWM Malaysia has officially opened a 4S centre in Kuching, Sarawak as it expands its presence to East Malaysia. Opened in collaboration with its GWM dealer partner, YLH Autoworld Sdn Bhd, GWM Kuching is the first 4S centre in East Malaysia.
The dealership covers an expansive area of 1,700 square metres, with the showroom being a sizable 550 square metres to accommodate a varied range of GWM models. Meanwhile, the service centre area measures 492 square metres and features 10 working bays and 2 washing bays, ensuring it is able to cater to a growing customer base.

The Kuching showroom will serve as a crucial link between Great Wall Motor and Kuching, Sarawak, extending our reach to more consumers in East Malaysia, providing a wider range of product choices, and ensuring superior service,” said Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia. Among those who attended the official opening were YB Datuk Amar Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier cum Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak, H.E. Xing WeiPing, Consulate General of The People’s Republic of China in Kuching, and Tan Kai, Chairman of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP).
“Our channel network is steadily expanding from West Malaysia to East Malaysia, with each product launch carefully considered in response to market demand. This year in October, we solidified the cooperation plan for the CKD local assembly with EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB). Next year, our product lineup will undergo accelerated expansion, introducing a succession of competitive models to meet the evolving needs of our Malaysian customers,” Cui added.
