Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has official opened the first Nissan Flagship Store for Malaysia. This redesigned and upgraded 3S Flagship Store in Petaling Jaya, Selangor is in line with the latest Nissan Retail Concept (NRC-NEXT) and will serve as a benchmark for automotive retail and aftersales excellence for the Nissan brand in Malaysia.
The purpose of the new Nissan Retail Concept is to transform Nissan dealerships and deliver world-class service standards to customers across the globe. It is focused on showcasing Nissan’s brand values to customers in different aspects of sales, aftersales and ownership experience. Every touch point of a NRC-NEXT-compliant retail facility has been reimagined and refined to deliver excitement and satisfaction to the customer.
The new Nissan 3S Flagship Store in Petaling Jaya reflects this direction, incorporating touches of timeless Japanese luxury in a modern and functional setting. Every facet of the 43,000-square feet Flagship Store, from its carefully chosen colour palette, premium appointments, to the contemporary layout and plush furnishing aim to welcome customers to a whole new level of comfort and convenience.
Customers will be able to experience up to 8 models on display in a casual environment, with professionally-trained sales advisors ready to attend to any product enquiries, and to arrange test drives from the complete line-up of new Nissan models.
ETCM had invested about RM million to upgrade this Flagship Store to the latest retail concept. At a time when automotive customer service is becoming more impersonal, ETCM is committed to continue engaging on a personal level as vehicle purchases are important acquisitions in Malaysia.

The new Nissan 3S Flagship Store bears an all-new façade highlighted by the prominent new Nissan logo. The dealership’s signature red tablet is visible from afar, while another eye-catching emblem is situated above the main entrance to greet visitors to the facility.
The facilities include a spacious and welcoming customer reception area, high-speed internet connectivity, specially assigned areas for private discussions as well as a children’s room to keep the little ones safe and occupied. There are also 2 new vehicle delivery bays and 3 EV chargers.
For Nissan owners returning for aftersales services, a Service Concierge is available to offer immediate assistance to owners at the entrance of the Service Centre. Customers will be able to wait at the newly furnished reception area with comfortable seating while Service Advisors attend to the them.
The Service Centre features 25 general service bays equipped with hoists as well as dedicated bays for air-conditioning and wheel alignment services. Further, there are also individual rooms earmarked for EV repairs and vehicles that may require extensive remedial work. The 25-member aftersales team can handle servicing of up to 100 vehicles daily. Every technician at the Service Centre is Nissan-certified and backed by a well-stocked spare parts warehouse utilising only Nissan Genuine Parts for a total peace-of-mind.
The new 3S Flagship Store was officiated recently by Makoto Uchida, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), who was accompanied by directors and top executives of both NML and Edaran Tan Chong Motor.
