GWM Malaysia Introduces ICE To BEV Easy Conversion Plan

GWM Malaysia has introduced a convenient ICE to BEV Easy Conversion Plan to play its role to help reduce carbon emissions and accelerate EV adoption in Malaysia as the country seeks to become a carbon neutral nation by 2050. Ora Good Cat_500 Ultra

The GWM Easy Conversion Plan consists of the following:

  1. 2-day Extensive Test Drive
  2. ICE to BEV Trade-in Assist
  3. Free RM1,000 Charging Credits
  4. Free Accessories ORA Good Cat_Easy Conversion Plan

The GWM Easy Conversion Plan is one of GWM’s initiatives to assist Malaysians to convert from ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles to BEV (battery electric vehicles) by offering the opportunity of an extensive 2-day test drive of the ORA Good Cat. This will allow for a more in-depth EV driving experience at one’s own pace.

Furthermore, with the ICE to BEV trade-in programme, the customer can trade-in their car with an additional support to sell off their ICE vehicle. GWM’s initiative also comes with RM1,000 worth of charging credits for selected EV charging stations so that customers can familiarise themselves with the available charging infrastructure outside.The EV of course, can be conveniently charged at home for optimal savings. “We take our customers’ concerns seriously in regard to the challenges they are facing to consider fully electric vehicle due to many uncertainties and questions such as range anxiety, charging facilities incompetence and more. Hence, the Easy Conversion Plan could help to resolve their concerns and consider owning their first EV, the ORA Good Cat,” said Mike Cui, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia.

ORA Good Cat buyers can also enjoy a complimentary portable and home charger, a 5-year or up to 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and an 8-year or up to 180,000 km battery warranty.

Coincidentally, Great Wall Motor marked a significant milestone as it rolled out the 400,000th unit of the ORA Good Cat from its production line in China. The Good Cat first went on sale in China in November 2020, and was subsequently launched in several other countries. This level of achievement is a testament to its popularity and its reliability. The ORA Good Cat is designed upon GWM’s state-of-the-art L.E.M.O.N. (lightweight, electrification, multi-purpose, omni-protection and network) electric platform. It features 5 driving modes ranging from Normal, Sport, Eco, Eco+ and Auto. Key features of the Good Cat include Level 2 driving assistance functions, integrating functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), lane keeping assistance and 360-degree surround view camera, as well as an auto emergency braking system for extra safety.
