Nissan Serena With J IMPUL Aerokit Now Available From RM169,888
Edaran Tan Chong Motor has introduced the Nissan Serena with J IMPUL aerokit exclusively developed in collaboration with the renowned aftermarket tuner from Japan. The Serena J IMPUL builds on the strengths of the Premium Highway Star Package and adds classy touches to the exterior and interior.
At the front end, the Serena gets a chrome garnish to accentuate an aggressive profile of the bumper. The trim also complements the distinctive chrome inserts of Nissan’s V-Motion front grille. Meanwhile at the rear, chrome trim is applied to the lower edge of the bumper to visually differentiate the J IMPUL and also to match the front chrome accent and IMPUL emblem on the tailgate. 
The exterior package of the Serena J IMPUL is rounded off with a set of 18″IMPUL Millennium Y-spoke lightweight alloy wheels with a black and polished finish from Japan. The wheels are wrapped with ultra high-performance Goodyear Eagle F1 Sport tyres for better handling. The tyres also deliver superior braking with its DynamicBraking Technology, while offering a quiet and comfortable ride.
Inside, the Serena’s spacious cabin also receives a premium IMPUL makeover with the seats and door trims upholstered in combination leather. The supple Nappa leather bears contrasting hues of burgundy and black with a unique Japanese rock garden inspired seat pattern and embroidered IMPUL logo, helps lift the cabin ambience. 
The Serena J IMPUL continues to offer innovative features such as the Dual Back Door with split tailgate which gives loading flexibility especially in tight spaces. Furthermore, the Dual Power Sliding Doors offer class-leading hands-free access not found in other MPVs.
Other conveniences include 7 USB charging points, built-in window sunshades, power door-opening switch in the 3rd row and a host of storage spaces.
Every Serena is fitted with Nissan Intelligent Mobility 360° Safety Shield as standard, offering advanced drive assist functions such as Intelligent Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking to mitigate the risk of collision. Other features include Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Intelligent Around View Monitor and Moving Object Detection which offer a bird’s eye view of the vehicle and scans for moving objects around the vehicle, such as a child or a pet.
Besides these, the updated Nissan Serena S-HYBRID is also equipped with 6 airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control with Traction Control System, ABS with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution and Brake Assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors and Hill Start Assist as standard.
The Serena is powered by the S-Hybrid powertrain comprising the MR20DD 2.0L CVTC 4-cylinder engine which is supported by an Energy Control electric motor. The system has a total output of 150 hp and 200 Nm to move this 7-seater with the aid of the X-TRONIC CVT with Adaptive Shift Control. Official fuel economy comes in at 14.2 km/l, equivalent to 852 km on a full tank of petrol.
