“With the rising uptake of electrified vehicles in Malaysia, we – the providers of these automobiles, consider it one of our main responsibilities to ensure that sufficient infrastructure is in place to support this demand. The positive reception for Electrified Mobility in recent times, bolstered by the many initiatives by our local government, has been a welcome sight for us; and we are committed to developing the EV landscape further for our customers, alongside BMW Group Malaysia,” said Jayden Liew, Managing Director of Wheelcorp Premium.

Max Leong Yew Mun, Assistant General Manager at Eco Sanctuary, said that they are always on the lookout to actively engage with organisations that share common sustainability goals. By supporting Wheelcorp Premium’s drive to roll out more charging facilities, they are also making good progress on their own ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) goals. The aim is for all EcoWorld projects to have at least 1 EV charging station.
