Hino And Mara Liner Launch New Service Centre In Bandar Muadzam Shah
Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Mara Liner Sdn Bhd (MLSB), have officially launched a new Hino Approved Service Outlet (HASO). Mara Liner is a wholly owned subsidiary of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and is one of the major players in public transportation, logistics services, and bus services to all states in Peninsular Malaysia.
This new authorised service center is part of the company’s dealer development programme. Both parties agreed to leverage on existing commercial vehicle facilities and further expand their business capabilities. Through this partnership, Hino expands its dealer service network and MLSB can start to generate revenue from the development of its own service centre.
The HASO programme was started in 2021 by Hino to provide its customers with comprehensive aftersales support and cover all Hino operation areas. “In the commercial vehicle industry, we are not solely focused on product sales. After-sales service is also our main focus where we strive to serve our best services and ensure customer’s vehicles perform at their best and contribute to smooth logistics and business operation,” said Hino Managing Director, Atsushi Uchiyama.
“We aim ‘To be Malaysia’s most Customer-Centric and reliable Commercial Vehicle company and make our country a better place to live by providing Best-fit Products and Total Support’, and with this mission, we came up with the idea to develop HASO with the main objective to provide total support and give our best after-sales services to customers”.
At Bandar Muadzam Shah, Hino saw in it a suitable location to serve customers in and around the Rompin area. Hino and MLSB also share the objective to support development and employment opportunities in the more rural areas such as this. Hino is confident that MLSB, with its good track record, capabilities, and credibility, will effectively expand the reach of its objectives to benefit existing and potential customers. Both parties have mutual interests as well as individual strengths to synergise the development, deployment, and provision of comprehensive solutions and support to their customers.
Hino has 3 other HASO centres i.e. Sungai Petani, Penang, and Semenyih, and is currently planning to open more HASO in other states. At HASO, customers can enjoy the same service programmes that are offered in other Hino Service Centres such as the Free Service Programme (FSP).
The latest HASO is located at Lot 27 Kawasan Perindustrian Muadzam Shah and has ample space for customer parking. There are 5 service bays, including 2 pit bays, and an extensive collection of the latest
equipment and tools available, including the latest HINO DX II diagnostic system. The service centre is capable of servicing up to 12 vehicles at the same time.
The service outlet is headed by Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) Manager, Mohd Adam bin Mohd Idris, and his team of 10 well-trained staff who can provide a comprehensive range of HINO services, including 24-hour breakdown support.
Further, while waiting for their truck or bus to be serviced, drivers can relax at the customer lounge area which offers complimentary refreshments and WiFi.
Along with Hino Managing Director, Atsushi Uchiyama, Hino Director, Ahmad Yasmin Yahya, MARA Chief Director, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Sri Azhar Bin Abd Manaf, as well as Chief Executive Officer of MLSB, Zachary Ismail were also present at the launch.
