Super Nice Express Adds MAN Double Decker Coach To Fleet

Super Nice Express Sdn Bhd has added another bus to its growing fleet – a double decker coach built on the MAN RR5 3-axle coach chassis. The MAN RR5 coach chassis is fitted with the intelligent and quiet MAN TipMatic® gearbox which delivers excellent moving-off behaviour, and smooth gear changes that optimise manoeuvring and reduce fuel consumption, thus offering first-class driving and travel comfort.MAN Coach_Super Nice Express_Zenwan Express

The MAN RR5 chassis is assembled at the MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN Malaysia) manufacturing facility in Serendah, Selangor. Meanwhile, the new and innovative TX9 body design is built by coach body builder TACT Coach Seat & Manufacturing Sdn Bhd based in Penang. The coach also features first-in-Malaysia zero gravity seats that claims to keep body stress and aches to a minimum for a more comfortable travel experience.

According to MAN Malaysia Managing Director, Andrew O’Brooks, the MAN RR5 coach chassis met all of Super Nice’s requirements with its superior flexibility, versatility, and reliability; cutting-edge safety systems; and economical and efficient driveline.MAN_Double Decker Coach_Super Nice Express_Zenwan Express

“We have the ideal and ready products – both low and zero emission – to help bus companies like Super Nice join the sustainability journey without sacrificing profitability and evolve into a sustainable transport provider. Starting from 2023, MAN Malaysia will offer low emission Euro 5 engines as standard with all our MAN Bus and Coach chassis and also start taking orders for the zero emission, all-electric MAN eBus chassis as we continue to drive change towards sustainable mobility in the public transport sector of Malaysia,” he elaborated.

“MAN Coaches have proven to be reliable with minimal downtime and low maintenance costs, which encouraged us to invest in additional units to support the growing demand for road travel nationwide,” said Super Nice Chairman, Roy Chew. Super Nice is a leading bus company which now operates around 40 MAN coaches, following its recent acquisition of Zenwan Express, a popular luxury coach service on the Singapore – Melaka – Kuala Lumpur – Ipoh route.

MAN bus and coach chassis can be specified with the latest advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) such as Electronic Brake System (EBS), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), MAN BrakeMatic® with maximum speed control management and cruise control, Lane Guard System (LGS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
