The GWM Ora Good Cat EV Is Available For Booking
The GWM Ora Good Cat electric vehicle is now available for booking. The car was recently displayed by Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia at the Malaysia Motor Show in Kuala Lumpur.
“We are proud to bring in ORA GOOD CAT, our first fully electric car into the Malaysian market and we believe it will introduce Malaysians to more alternatives on the road. It caters to the many different Malaysians’ needs. We believe we can electrify Malaysians’ desire and appeal for electric vehicles with the launch of ORA GOOD CAT,” said Managing Director of GWM Malaysia, Cui Anqi.
The GWM Ora Good Cat bears a futuristic design with retro vibes. Like its name, the Ora Good Cat has unique cat-eye shaped headlamps with intelligent LED headlamp system. Some of the other notable features include:
- 7” cluster display with user friendly interface and driving information
- 10.25” Multimedia Touch Screen Display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Electronic Shifter; centered gear shift dial allows for more space and comfort for passengers
- Full electric panoramic sunroof
- Two-tone interior in various colour schemes, with ergonomic seats for maximum comfort
- Driver Seat Memory with Welcome function
- Driver Massage Seat
- Wireless charger
This EV also comes with an intelligent parking system that assists with 3 modes of automatic parking. The car is equipped with 4 high definition 360-degree cameras and a wisdom dodge system that can detect and avoid large vehicles within its proximity. Further, the Ora Good Cat comes with auto emergency braking for maximum safety.
The car has a top speed of 152 km/h and offers 5 driving modes i.e. Normal, Sport, Eco, Eco+, and Auto to suit your preference or mood. Most importantly, the car has a driving range of up to 500 km on a single charge.
Additionally, GWM also aims to provide its customers with easy customer service access. GWM has already established a spare parts warehouse in Shah Alam, and will be providing 24-hour roadside assistance service to owners.

No official price has been announced yet but the Ora Good Cat is expected to be in the RM150k – RM160k range.
