Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Releases Official Prices For EQB 350 And EQC 400
Following up from their official launch in July, the Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4MATIC and EQC 400 4MATIC have received their official prices. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced that the recommended retail price of the all-new EQB 350 4MATIC and EQC 400 4MATIC are RM328,888 and RM388,888 respectively (inclusive of 10% sales tax).
The EQB 350 4MATIC is the brand’s all-electric compact SUV with 7 seats, offering additional space for different seating configurations and transport practicality. The 2 seats in the 3rd row can be used by
people up to 1.65 metres tall, or can have child seats fitted there. Sitting on a wheelbase of 2,829 mm, the EQB offers a boot volume of 1,710 litres.
The EQB 350 4MATIC also features Electric Art and is complemented by 48.3 cm (19″) 5-spoke light-alloy wheels. The vehicle also includes polished aluminium roof rails, LED High Performance headlamps, surround lighting with brand logo projection, and a vehicle key set (one of the keys in rosé gold).
Power output is rated at 215 kW (292 hp) and 520 Nm. The 66.5 kWh battery offers a driving range (WLTP) of 388 – 423 km. The EQB can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 160 km/h. The battery accepts Alternating Current (AC) charging of up to 11 kW or Direct Current (DC) charging up to 100 kW. A 5-metre charging cable for wallbox and public charging stations is included in the purchase.
Meanwhile, the EQC 400 4MATIC features an AMG Line exterior and AMG body styling, with 20″ AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, aluminium-look running boards with rubber studs, and MULTIBEAM LED headlights. The EQC combines all the attributes of the brand with quality, safety and comfort with avant-garde and distinct aesthetics.
The EQC’s high-voltage 80 kWh Lithium-ion battery sited in the floor, stores enough energy to drive 373 – 437 km (WLTP). Its motor produces 300 kW (408 hp) and 760 Nm which allows it to do a 0 – 100 km/h sprint in 5.1 seconds. Top speed is capped at 180 km/h.
The EQC 400 takes AC charging up to 11 kW and DC charging up to 110 kW. A 5-metre charging cable is also included.
For safety, the EQC 400 4MATIC features the Driving Assistance package which includes the Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, PRE-SAFE® system and Active Steering Assist. It also comes with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus and URBAN GUARD vehicle protection which features an anti-theft alarm system and an interior monitoring system accessible from the Mercedes me app. Also included is the Parking Package with a 360° camera and Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC.
