New MODENAS Bikes Sold To Enjoy Extended Warranty Option

From 1 September 2022, Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd a.k.a. MODENAS has a new extended warranty programme in effect for bike models sold and registered from that date onwards. The list of Modenas motorcycles covered by this new extended programme are:

  • Kriss 110
  • Karisma 125S
  • Elegan 250
  • Pulsar RS200
  • Pulsar NS200
  • Dominar D400

Modenas Elegan 250The new extended warranty (EW) programme is an option that provides an additional 2 years or 65,000 km (whichever comes first) of coverage. This is an optional third-party functional warranty that is being offered by MODENAS’ insurance partner i.e. Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad which serves as the EW programme provider, with Allianz Partners Malaysia providing the towing services. The EW programme covers sudden and unexpected motorcycle failure of selected factory-fitted mechanical and electrical components.

Features offered by the MODENAS Extended Warranty Programme include:

  • 24 hours, 365 days Roadside Breakdown Assistance (RBA).
  • The RBA extends its towing services to the nearest MODENAS authorised service centre within 100 km radius.
  • Fully transferable on resale of bike.
  • Offer better resale value of bike.
  • Use of genuine MODENAS spares: 30,000+ parts that come with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty.

Maintenance and repair of motorcycles can cost up to one-fifth of the original purchase price hence to avoid unexpected financial costs, the company is providing such value-added options for its customers.
