All-New Honda HR-V Priced From RM115k

The all-new Honda HR-V is available in 4 variants and priced from RM115k. 4 variants are available in 3 powertrain choices i.e.:

• HR-V 1.5 S : RM114,800
• HR-V 1.5 E : RM129,800
• HR-V 1.5 V : RM134,800
• HR-V 1.5 e:HEV RS : RM140,800

As you would have noticed, the price difference between the S and E variants is wide. This is because the entry-level S variant is fitted with a naturally aspirated 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine which produces 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the E and V variants get a 1.5L VTEC turbocharged engine with 181 PS and 240 Nm. As for the range-topping RS variant, it uses a hybrid powertrain i.e. the 2-motor system with 131 PS and 253 Nm. Further, the E, V and RS variants come with a Drive Mode selector with 3 modes i.e. Normal, Sport, and Econ.

As an all-new model, the body of the HR-V gets a complete redesign. The front sports a new grille design and full LED headlights with daytime running lights, LED fog lights¹ and sequential turn signals².  Additionally, the V and RS variants get 18″ alloy wheels.

For its interior, the E, V and RS variants get a 7″ Interactive TFT meter cluster and 8″ display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto⁴ connectivity. Honda has also introduced an Air Diffusion System in the HR-V for better cooling circulation. An additional standard feature in the new model is the rear air conditioning  vents. Further, the RS variant features combination leather upholstery, Sports Pedals, Dual Zone Auto Air Conditioning and a Deceleration Selector Paddle.

Another first in its segment, and a first in Honda is the Hands-Free Power Tailgate with Walkaway Close function. The tailgate will close automatically when the driver moves away from the vehicle, if the ‘Walkaway Close Switch’ is switched on. The Remote Engine Start¹ and Walk Away Auto Lock feature are also new features included in the new HR-V. There is also Hill Descent Control which helps regulate vehicle speed and braking when driving down a steep slope.

All variants come standard with the Honda SENSING suite of driving assistance, while the top 2 variants i.e. V and RS are also equipped with Honda LaneWatch². The Honda SENSING suite includes:

An additional advanced feature for the V & RS is Honda CONNECT², which applies smart telematics for added safety, security and convenience.
