Hyundai has opened a lifestyle concept showroom in Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang. The Hyundai Penang City Store is a first of such for the brand in its quest to provide greater accessibility and a new shopping experience for customers.
The Hyundai Penang City Store is designed with an inviting ambience, with a modern and chic interioras well as a digitalised interactive wall. Besides having the latest Hyundai models on display, the new showroom also offers digitalised car configurator for shoppers to experience the “look and feel” of their desired cars.
For instance, this innovative car configurator allows you to have the virtual experience of personalising your car according to your choice of colours.
Unlike conventional car showrooms, the Hyundai Penang City Store has more self-service options with an interactive screen and a Hyundai Collection merchandise area that offers a wide selection of Hyundai collectables.

The opening of this concept showroom in a mall where footfall is higher will enable the company to elevate brand awareness for Hyundai and ultimately drive sales.
Furthermore, an AC charging station has also been installed in Basement 2 level of Gurney Paragon Mall for the convenience of Hyundai electric vehicle owners who frequent the mall. The charging station operates daily during the mall operation hours from 10 AM – 10 PM.
Customers who buy their cars from Hyundai Penang City Store will be supported by Sime Darby Auto Hyundai’s full-fledged service centre located nearby at Jalan Sungai Pinang for all their service and repair needs.
Apart from offering the usual preventive maintenance service, other services offered at the full-fledged service centre also include air-conditioning service, body and paint restoration, collision repair and insurance claim as well as vehicle insurance renewal. For the comfort and convenience of customers, this service centre also comes with a customer lounge that is equipped with Wi-Fi and a refreshments corner. A Quick Service option is also offered to customers who only require basic servicing for their cars.
