New Ford Ranger WildTrak Sport Special Edition Variant Launched
The Ford Ranger WildTrak Sport is a special edition variant launched by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia. Based off the WildTrak variant, it has the same 2.0L bi-turbo engine and 10-speed automatic set-up that produces 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque.
In addition to its very capable performance on- and off-road, the Ranger WildTrak Sport Special Edition continues to lead with advanced technologies and innovative driver assistance features to offer drivers a safer and smarter driving experience. These features include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with Vehicle and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning and Assist.
What makes this Sport version of the WildTrak different are:
- New front grille design
- Ebony black wing mirrors
- Black lift handle
- Black door handles
- 18” Black alloy wheels
- New illuminated front scuff plates with logo
- Leather embossed seats
- Steering wheel with contrast stitching
The Ford Ranger WildTrak Sport is available in 2 colours i.e. Saber and Absolute Black. It is priced from RM158,388 (on the road without insurance in Pen. Malaysia), and is backed by Ford’s new 5-year or 160,000 km manufacturer’s warranty (whichever comes first). You will also get an 18-month free service package for added peace of mind if you purchase before 31 December 2021.
There are only limited units of the Ranger WildTrak Sport available. You can view it at Ford’s first ‘new normal’ roadshow at 1Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya (Ground Floor, Luxe Wing) from 8 – 12 December 2021.
There will be offers available at the roadshow, but you can also enjoy the same at any of the Ford authorised dealerships nationwide. And if you book the new Ranger WildTrak Sport within this 5-day roadshow period, you will stand a chance to walk away with a local Getaway.
The roadshow is broadcasted from 1Utama via Facebook Live on the Ford Malaysia Facebook page. You will also be able to join in the roadshow activities that will be broadcasted by Facebook Live across several sessions throughout the day, and you can also stand a chance to win exclusive merchandise. Winners will receive their gifts at their desired addresses within Malaysia, if chosen as the winner.
