Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer Launched By Hap Seng Star
Authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer, Hap Seng Star Sdn Bhd, has launched the Vito Tourer for Malaysia. The Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer SELECT 121 Extra Long is a special arrangement by Hap Seng Star and available only at its dealerships nationwide. This van is available for private and company registration, but commercial use as a premium tour vehicle, shuttle or limousine may also be possible (best to enquire with the dealership). 
As hinted by its name, this Vito version is a long-wheelbase (3,430 mm) transporter that is 5,370 mm long, 1,928 mm wide (excluding wing mirrors), and 1,958 mm tall, providing enough space inside for up to 10 people. However, you do have a choice to adjust the 2-3-2-3 seating configuration into a 7-seater (or fewer) instead, should you rather prefer more cargo volume. The vehicle is also fitted with roof rails that can support up to 150 kg should you run out of cargo space on the inside. The 3rd row seats which are captain chairs are the prime spots for passengers. All the rear seats are attached to the floor by a guide rail system with quick release attachments and allow for flexible seating arrangements. But Hap Seng Star encourages owners to have the seats removed or installed at one of its service centres by trained technicians.
As a Mercedes-Benz, passenger comfort is naturally a priority. Both front seats feature electrical adjustment with memory settings as well as lumbar support adjustment and cooling. Further, the THERMOTRONIC dual zone climate control helps to keep temperatures at a comfortable level. Cabin cooling is further enhanced with the TEMPMATIC semi-automatic air conditioning system for the rear occupants.
Additionally, courtesy lights are fitted to the doors to ensure passengers can get in and out in the dark in a safe manner. The wide rear doors have one-touch automatic sliding that can be operated via the remote fob, exterior handle, interior button or by the driver. Entertainment is provided via the Audio 30 multimedia system which has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and uses a 7″ touchscreen display. Furthermore, there are multiple USB ports available for charging devices, as well as 4 sets of ISOFIX anchors for child seats.
For the driver, there is a multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters as well as height and inclination adjustment for a more ergonomic driving position. Moreover, the Vito Tourer is equipped with various driving and safety assistance systems such as Active Distance DISTRONIC, Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, Crosswind Assist, and Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC.

The Vito Tourer is fitted with a 2.0L turbocharged M274 petrol engine paired with a 9G-TRONIC 9 speed automatic transmission to provide smoother gear shifts and a wider gear range. This powertrain provides up to 211 hp @ 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm of torque @ 1,300 – 4,000 rpm. Additionally, the Vito sits on 17″ light alloy wheels attached to a Comfort suspension set-up and has a 70L fuel tank for greater driving range.
The Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer SELECT 121 Extra Long is available in Obsidian Black Metallic, Rock Crystal White Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic and Cavansite Blue Metallic. It is fully imported and has a retail price of RM342,036.40 (on the road without insurance).
