Honda Malaysia Introduces The CR-V Black Edition
Honda Malaysia has introduced the CR-V Black Edition as another variant in the line-up of its popular SUV model1. The Black Edition is a CR-V 1.5L TC-P 2WD variant wearing the Crystal Black Pearl exterior colour.
In addition to that, it bears all dark finishes such as the Black Front Grille with Honda Signature LED Headlights, Black Front Bumper Garnish, and Black Rear Bumper Garnish. These are complemented by 18″ alloy wheels finished in high-quality piano black.
True to its name, the black theme continues in the cabin. The steering wheel, 7″ Interactive TFT meter and air conditioning garnish are all done up in piano black. Furthermore, the centre console, dashboard and door trim of the Black Edition sport a black wood garnish while the new headlining is accented by black finishing. The all-black theme is also carried through to the seats, with the front seats bearing embroidered “Black Edition” label.

Powering this 5th Generation CR-V is the same 1.5L VTEC turbocharged engine with an output of 193 PS and 243 Nm of torque, which are figures higher than a 2.4L non-turbo engine.
Further, the CR-V includes advanced features such as Remote Engine Start2 which allows you to start the engine via the smart key and have the air conditioning switched on before you enter the car. As an SUV that is known for its large cargo space, the CR-V makes transporting goods hassle-free. The Hands-Free Power Tailgate2 feature also gives you added convenience to access the cargo area. This feature is activated with a motion of the foot near the hands-free access sensor under the rear bumper.
The CR-V is also equipped with a host of safety features, including the full suite of Honda SENSING2 with 8 safety features in addition to the other standard safety functions.
