Use Your MyDebit ATM Card At Petron And Stand To Win A Proton X50 Or Yamaha MT-25

Petron Malaysia is running a contest to encourage more of its customers to use their MyDebit ATM card. The ‘Petron Fuel Champs! MyDebit Je with your ATM Card’ contest is a collaboration with Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) to reduce the transaction of physical currency notes. The contest started on 1 August 2021 and will run until 31 October 2021.

With just a minimum spend of RM5 on fuel at Petron, MyDebit ATM card holders stand a chance to win the latest Proton X50 1.5T Executive SUV in the grand draw. In addition, there will be 2 first prize winners who will each win a Yamaha MT-25 naked sports motorcycle. There will also be 3 second prize winners who will each receive a Samsung 65″ QLED TV. The consolation prize is RM700 worth of Petron Miles points and there will be 10 consolation prize winners. All winners will also receive a limited-edition international football jersey.

Lots of big prizes are at stake for our customers, including a brand-new car, just by fueling up with their MyDebit ATM card at our service station,” said Choong Kum Choy, Petron Head of Retail and Commercial Business.

MyDebit is the only card scheme in Malaysia that does not hold RM200 when you insert your card at the fuel pump. When a service station chain accepts MyDebit payments, you can select the amount of fuel that you want to purchase and only that particular amount is blocked during fuelling. If you happen to refuel less than your pre-selected amount, the excess amount will be credited back into your bank account immediately once fuelling is done.

Aside from the main prizes, there are 6 winners selected on a monthly basis during this promotion period. In August, 3 lucky Petron customers won first prize, bringing home an autographed international football jersey while another 3 won the second prize of RM500 worth of PMiles points. Another 6 winners will be selected through the months of September and October respectively. All winners will also stand a chance to participate in a virtual meet-up with the Polish football legend, Jerzy Dudek.

To stand a chance to win, you only need to spend a minimum of RM5 on fuel via an ATM card transaction at the fuel pump.
