Upgraded Modenas Dominar D400 Launched

MODENAS has launched the upgraded Modenas Dominar D400 motorcycle. This sports tourer model receives several technical upgrades as well as 2 new colour schemes.

The upgrades to this bike includes new a Upside Down (“USD”) front fork unit which replaces the conventional telescopic fork on the previous model; and a twin barrel exhaust system. The exhaust is paired to the DOHC 373 cc liquid cooled engine with DTS-i technology. This is capable of producing 40 PS and 35 Nm of torque, promising a more powerful riding experience.

The Modenas Dominar D400 features 320 mm (front) and 230 mm (rear) disc brakes, and paired to a dual channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Additionally, its rear is equipped with an adjustable Nitrox monoshock absorber that allows the rider to tune it according to his / her riding needs. Furthermore, the Dominar D400 also comes with an Assist and Slipper Clutch system that provides assistance during sudden change of gears to maintain stability.

On styling, the Dominar D400’s fuel tank pad gets a new carbon fiber finishing and a Dominar stamped logo on its rear seat. The bike features a fully digital LCD instrument console complete with speedometer, rev counter, fuel gauge, odometer and gear indicator. Further, its automatic headlamp is the “LED mosaic” type which helps to provide clear lighting especially at night which allow riders to be seen from a distance of 1.5 km.

The 2 new colour options for Modenas Dominar D400 are Savanna Green and Charcoal Black. The recommended selling priced is RM13,997 (excluding insurance and road tax). It is now available for purchase at all MODENAS authorised dealerships.
