Nissan Showrooms Resume Operations

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has announced that almost all of its Nissan showrooms nationwide will resume business operations today (20 August 2021). This is in accordance with the latest announcement of the government’s National Recovery Plan (NRP). A few showrooms will only reopen later, on 23 August, while those in Kedah, Melaka and Johor remain closed until further notice (listed below).Nissan_Showrooms_August 2021

For health and safety reasons, ETCM will adhere to strict standard operating procedures (SOP) to safeguard its employees and also provide peace-of-mind for customers. Only vaccinated employees including post-vaccine incubation period are allowed to resume work in Nissan showrooms. All employees will be wear face mask and undergo frequent body temperature checks. Furthermore, regular disinfecting will be carried out at the showrooms including the display and test drive vehicles.

Customers are also advised to comply with SOPs when entering the premise. This includes ensuring full vaccination status, inclusive of the post-vaccine period. You will be asked to provide proof of digital vaccination certificate in MySejahtera, as well as required to wear face mask at all times and have a temperature check (has to be below 37.5°C). Other SOPs set by the Government also remain active.
