Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Launches Official Used Car Programme

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has launched its official used car programme. Called the Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme or just Hyundai Promise, it is a service that provides an effortless and reliable way to trade in or buy pre-owned Hyundai vehicles.

HSDM promises that all pre-owned Hyundai models sold through its Hyundai Promise network come with genuine parts and the original engine. Before getting approved and certified for the Hyundai Promise programme, all cars would have to go through stringent and rigorous inspections carried out by trained technicians to ensure that they are in optimal electrical and mechanical condition. Additionally, the vehicles must also be free of major accident damage, to give buyers peace of mind when purchasing these vehicles. All approved and certified vehicles will come with an extended warranty of between 2 to 5 years depending on the age of the vehicle and the clocked-in mileage.

Customers who make their purchase from Hyundai Promise will enjoy wonderful benefits including quality assurance, financial solutions, and extended warranty,” said Mr Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of HSDM.

Mr Low added that Hyundai Promise is an important business segment that complements Hyundai’s existing business ecosystem. It also aims to regulate the resale value of Hyundai used cars in Malaysia.

All pre-owned Hyundai cars are also covered by manufacturer’s and dealer’s warranty as well as a 24-hour road assistance service. The Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme is owned and managed by HSDM, and supported by Sime Darby Auto Selection.

When the situation permits, you can head over to the Hyundai Promise centre to check out the cars available. It is located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Business hours are from 9 am – 5 pm on weekdays, and 9 am – 12.30 pm on Saturdays. The centre is closed on Sundays.
