BMW Malaysia Confirms Price Of New BMW 330Li M Sport
BMW Malaysia has confirmed the official price of its new BMW 330Li M Sport variant which was introduced earlier in April 2021. As the first-ever long wheelbase variant of its popular compact executive sedan, the BMW 330Li M Sport will have a retail price of RM277,164.22 (on the road, with Sales & Service Tax exemption and without insurance). This is significantly lower than the initial estimated price of RM300,800.
The BMW 330Li M Sport is the first long wheelbase 3 Series variant to be locally assembled in Malaysia. New in the car is the My BMW App. This app provides drivers easy access to a wide range of remote services, on-the-go navigation, and e-mobility features. The application replaces the BMW Connected App and is available for download on both Android and iOS-enabled smartphones.

The most significant difference is of course its dimensions. From the side, the 330Li gains 110 mm in overall length (4,819 mm) courtesy of a longer wheelbase length of 2,961 mm (+110 mm). For a more cohesive form, the height has also increased slightly by 6 mm to 1,441 mm. Elegance of the new sedan is enhanced with the new dynamic silhouette design framed with the BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line, and completed with a slight coupé-like roofline.
The kidney grilles come with black struts framed in chrome for a bit of class. And flanking the grilles are state-of-the-art Adaptive LED Headlights capable of automatically adjusting to varying road conditions. Other features that complete the 330Li M Sport exterior are the M Aerodynamics and M Sport Packages, a set of 18” M light alloy wheels in Double-Spoke style 848 M bicolour, with mixed sizes and run-flat tyres, double-sided exhaust tailpipe finishers with a trapezoidal design, as well as a panorama glass roof, and welcome light carpet on both sides.
For the interior, the trim finishers in Aluminium Tetragon with highlight trim finishers in Pearl Chrome for a chic ambience. The new dimensions of the sedan are reflected in an increase of 4 mm in headroom compared to the standard 330i M Sport. Furthermore, there is an additional 42 mm of legroom available for rear passengers to provide unparalleled spatial comfort and luxury. Boot space stands at 480 litres and is improved with the storage compartment package that offers more stowage possibilities.
In the cockpit, the driver is greeted with an M leather steering wheel and M-specific pedals. For greater utility, automatic anti-dazzle function is also fitted in both interior and exterior mirrors, as well as electric seat adjustment with memory function for the driver. Other interior highlights include velour floor mats, ambient lighting with 11 predefined settings, automatic air-conditioning with three-zone control, and a Hi-Fi audio system.
The infotainment, navigation and driver display systems make up the BMW Live Cockpit Professional system. There is a fully digital 12.3″ instrument display, as well as a 10.25″ touch sensitive display for the BMW Navigation System Professional. The instrument panel is in Sensatec with Galvanic Embellishers for controls. Moreover, the Comfort Access System also comes standard to provide added convenience for owners.
Power to move the BMW 330Li M Sport comes from a four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine capable of a maximum output of 258 hp @ 5,000 – 6,500 rpm and peak torque of 400 Nm @ 1,550 – 4,400 rpm. This power is transmitted via a Steptronic Sport transmission and allows the car to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds; top speed is capped at 250 km/h. Fuel consumption is officially recorded at 6.4 litres per 100 km, while carbon emission is measured at 147 g/km.
To enhance driver convenience and assistance, the BMW 330Li M Sport comes equipped with Cruise Control with braking function, Parking Assistant with rear view camera, and BMW Active Pedestrian Safety system. Driving Assistant also comes standard and includes features such as lane departure warning, lane change warning, front collision warning, cross traffic warning and rear collision prevention. Additionally, the Intelligent Emergency Call function also ensures live assistance and support are available at all times.
The BMW 330Li M Sport comes in 2 colour options i.e. Mineral White and Carbon Black. Leather Vernasca upholstery in Mocha with black stitching complement both the exterior colour offerings.
