Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace R-Line Gets Minor Equipment Upgrades

The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace R-Line has received some minor equipment upgrades. This update is part of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia’s (VPCM) continuous effort to enhance the ownership experience for its customers.

New for 2021, the Tiguan Allspace R-Line gets USB-C data and charging ports, as well as an update to its entertainment system to include wireless App-Connect for Apple CarPlay. The locally assembled Allspace R-Line uses a 9.2” Discover Pro navigation infotainment system with voice and gesture control.

The Allspace is a 5+2 seater SUV that allows for greater flexibility in seating and carrying configuration. With the third row seats folded down, it offers a spacious boot volume of 700 litres. With both the second and third row seats down, you get 1,775 litres of cargo space, the best in its segment.

Also best in its segment is the performance. Fitted with a 2.0L TSI turbocharged direct injection engine that is mated to a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) with wet clutch, the Allspace R-Line has an output of 220 PS and 350 Nm of torque. One key highlight is the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system which provides additionally grip and makes it ready for any terrain. This all-wheel drive system is also found in the performance-oriented VW Golf R.

Aside from a three-zone Climatronic climate control system, the Allspace R-Line features R-Line trim in its interior e.g. steering wheel, stainless aluminium sports pedals, front and rear aluminium scuff plates, ‘Dark Grid’ decorative inserts and a black headliner.

All Volkswagen models come with 3-years free maintenance, 5-years unlimited mileage warranty and 5-years roadside assistance.

Passat Promotion

The VPCM promotion for the VW Passat is still ongoing, and will end on 30 April 2021. Buying and registering either a Passat Elegance or Passat R-Line during this promotion period will entitle you to a complimentary all-expense paid trip to the luxurious Pangkor Laut Resort.
