Petron Blaze 100 Users Feedback On Fuel Efficiency And Performance
Petron Blaze 100 is the first and only high performance RON 100 fuel in Malaysia. Launched in 2016, this high-energy fuel is produced at Petron’s Port Dickson refinery. This high octane petrol has been tested for its power, engine responsiveness and fuel efficiency by Malaysian consumers using different types of vehicles.
The overall feedback from consumers showed that Petron Blaze 100 provides improved driving performance. The top benefit cited by customers is instant responsiveness, followed by better fuel economy. This combination makes Blaze 100 the fuel for an enjoyable and smooth long distance drive.
According to Daniel Chin Wei Xiong, who tested Petron Blaze 100 in his personal Nissan GT-R: “It feels more powerful as it provides me with better acceleration. My engine feels much more responsive with RON 100 and the pick-up is faster. You can feel the improved power when overtaking”.
Sharing the same sentiment, Volkswagen Golf owner, Lim Jae Sam said: “The fuel offers me a slight power gain and more responsive acceleration.”
Meanwhile, motorcyclist Tan Meng Keat who fueled his Yamaha MT-09 with Blaze 100 said, “I really feel the burst of power and acceleration when I twist my throttle. The response is instant. It only takes me six seconds to get from a rolling 50 km/h to 100 km/h.”
Petron Blaze 100 contains the TriAction Advantage formulation which combines a fully synthetic detergent, organic combustion improver and friction modifier to enable the fuel to burn more efficiently. This premium formulation not only enhances engine responsiveness but helps to clean and protect the engine. This helps to improve responsiveness and fuel economy. It also helps prolong efficient operation of catalytic converters due to its low sulfur content.
“My engine is much smoother now and it gave me better mileage. It is such an enjoyable feeling to drive with RON 100, totally different,” commented Daniel. The Nissan GT-R engine was also “slightly quieter” on Petron Blaze 100 according to Daniel.
Additionally, Tan said his motorcycle has a smoother sound and less vibration, while ignition was easier.
On highway or long distance driving, the customers’ feedback on fuel economy is positive. “My fuel consumption has improved by 15% as compared to other fuels. It is much better with Petron Blaze 100 and I believe the fuel can make a difference to my running costs in the long run. Definitely worth the premium,” said Lim about his Volkswagen.
Similarly Daniel commented: “It gives me better mileage than RON 97, which I usually pump. A full tank gives me about 350 km, which can last me between one to two weeks. I do believe Petron Blaze 100 will provide better value for money in the long run as it also gives me engine protection on top of the better mileage.”
