Lexus Malaysia Introduces Special Editions Of Lexus RX And ES
Lexus Malaysia has introduced special editions of the Lexus RX and Lexus ES, both global favourites in their segments.
The 2021 Lexus RX range in Malaysia adds on the Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition to complement the existing Premium and F-Sport variants. The Luxury Special Edition stands out with an exclusive aerodynamic body kit, giving it a sportier appearance. There is a new front bumper spoiler, side skirts, and rear bumper diffuser.
Meanwhile on the sedan side, the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition features a classy interior with impeccable inlay of bamboo wood trim in the doors, dashboard, centre console and steering wheel. While offering a unique texture and a fine finish to the vehicle’s luxurious interior, the bamboo trim perfectly illustrates the role of a Takumi Craftsman who painstakingly sculpts and finishes each piece by hand. The bamboo is hand-picked from sustainable forests in Kochi in southern Japan, and offers a luxurious and beautiful accent to the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition while being environmentally responsible.
Despite its sleek silhouette and coupe-like raking rear quarter, the aerodynamic profile of the Lexus ES 250 belies the generous space within. Powered by a responsive 2.5L engine producing a respectable 204 hp, it carries you in style, luxury and safety.
Similarly, the Lexus RX, being the executive SUV of choice for many, shares the Lexus pedigree and attention to detail that rewards drivers and passengers. Regarded as one of the most refined and sophisticated all-purpose vehicles, the Lexus RX boasts an impressive level of sophistication and craftsmanship that is apparent the moment you step in.
“The Lexus RX and Lexus ES have suitably played a key role in the Lexus family by developing a strong interest in the Lexus brand. They have continuously delivered an overall package that not only impresses from its design, but the high level of quality finish, equipment and luxurious drive have made these the best-selling models in the Lexus stable,” said President of Lexus Malaysia Mr Ravindran K.
Both the Lexus RX and Lexus ES models enjoy the latest in Lexus suite of safety features, particularly the Lexus Safety System + (LSS+). This includes the Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) and Adaptive High-Beam System (AHS).
The Lexus RX’s AHS additionally comes with the world’s first “BladeScan” where blade-shaped mirrors in the headlights spin at high speed to vary the throw of the light away from other road users while providing good illumination in other spots.
“The Lexus RX and the Lexus ES have proven to be capable, sophisticated and impressive performers in their segments and they continuously exceed expectations by delivering a level of distinctiveness that cannot simply be ignored,” added Deputy Chairman of Lexus Malaysia Mr Akio Takeyama.
The Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition is available in four colours i.e. Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, Graphite Black Glass Flake and Red Mica Crystal Shine. It is priced at RM421,909.50.
The Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition is available in Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, Graphite Black Glass Flake or Deep Blue Mica, and will be paired with either Topaz or Black interior colours.
