New Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre Opens In Petaling Jaya

Another new Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre has officially opened its doors. The latest 3S centre located in Petaling Jaya is managed by Ingress Motors Centre (IMC), an established Mitsubishi Motors authorised dealer. IMC has three other Mitsubishi outlets i.e. in Puchong, Bangi and Shah Alam, all of which wear the new Mitsubishi Motors corporate identity.

“Congratulations to Ingress Motors Centre for opening another Mitsubishi Motors showroom here in Petaling Jaya. MMM and IMC have been business partners since 2013 and within seven years IMC has established four out of 14 MMM showrooms within Klang Valley. This goes to show IMC’s commitment to further strengthen the Mitsubishi’s brand presence in Malaysia,” said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM).

“As we work together towards introducing the new XPANDER to the Malaysian market very soon, the opening of this new showroom is in line with putting our customers at the forefront and as our utmost priority. It is our aim to serve our customers better in terms of sales and after sales in the central region,” he added.

The new 3S centre by IMC is located at No. 13, Jalan 225 Section 51A, 46100 Petaling Jaya. It has a built-up area of over 34,000 square feet and houses a showroom that can display up to four vehicles, and a fully equipped workshop with 12 service bays. The outlet also has a comfortable customer lounge with complimentary WiFi. IMC had invested about RM1.25 million to establish this sales, service and spare parts centre.

“I strongly believe that the opening of our new showroom in PJ will pave the way for new Mitsubishi customers. There is an enormous market potential here in view of the huge population and promising growth of not less than 1.25% per annum with at least 60% of mid to high income households,” said Rabian Abdul Rahman, President of Ingress Motors Centre Auto Dealership Division.

The Mitsubishi brand is now represented by 52 showrooms (of which 46 are 3S Centres) and 52 service outlets in Malaysia. There are 14 Mitsubishi outlets in East Malaysia (seven each for Sarawak and Sabah). All the outlets are gradually being updated and incorporating the new brand identity and tagline: ‘Drive Your Ambition’. The corporate mark is a powerful statement of Mitsubishi Motors’ commitment to the values and aspirations of its drivers.
