Hiewa Auto Gallery Takes Over Lexus Mutiara Damansara From UMW Toyota
Hiewa Auto Gallery (Lexus) Sdn Bhd has taken over the Lexus Mutiara Damansara outlet, according to a recent announcement by UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT). This move to transfer UMWT outlets to its dealers is part of the company’s strategy to streamline its operations and focus. This plan was announced as far back as October 2017 regarding the transfer of all its branch retail operations to dealers and other parties.
Hiewa Auto Gallery has been a Toyota dealer since 2004 and also operates the Lexus Melaka 3S outlet. Hiewa Auto Gallery (Lexus) Sdn Bhd officially took over Lexus Mutiara Damansara on 1 August 2020.
This allows UMWT to focus on high value upstream activities such as product development, marketing and dealer network support. While the dealers continue to concentrate on delivering customer satisfaction according to Toyota and Lexus standards.
With this move, UMWT promises an exciting phase of seamless support for its significant customer base, as well as growth and development of entrepreneurship to add value to the local economy.
