Hyundai Malaysia Revised Price List And Special Service Package

Pursuant to the sales tax holiday afforded to new vehicles under the government’s economic stimulus plan (PENJANA), Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors has revised its product price list to reflect the change in taxation. For locally assembled vehicles, there is a sales tax exemption of 100%, while sales tax for imported vehicles has been halved to 5%. However, the sales tax exemption only applies to new vehicles manufactured in 2020. The updated prices are: At the same time, Hyundai is encouraging all Hyundai vehicle owners to send their cars in for servicing. Since many vehicles have seen minimal use, or none at all, during the Movement Control Order period, Hyundai advises all owners to bring their cars in. This is to ensure that the cars are in good running condition before we all go back to our daily routines post-RMCO (Recovery Movement Control Order), especially when you have not used your vehicle for some time.

“We understand that most car owners have not had the chance to drive much during the Movement Control Order (MCO) and the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period. Even if it has been parked in the same spot for weeks, there could be oil leakages or other underlying problems that you may not be aware of. For optimal engine health, we suggest that customers bring their cars in for service to ensure that everything is in order,” said Mr Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors.

To encourage Hyundai owners to service their vehicles, Hyundai is offering a special service package which includes a free vehicle health check. For this campaign, you are entitled to a 20% discount on selected genuine parts and 10% off labour charges.

Additionally, customers who have lubricant service or spend more than RM300 on any repair work will receive a free gift.

Those who are concerned about their health can also request for the KLIMA Fresh car disinfection service which is now available at all authorised Hyundai service centres. This service promotion is valid until 30 July 2020.
