Attractive Deals On Proton Vehicles Used For E-Hailing Service

PROTON sees a trend in Malaysians entering the e-hailing business to supplement their income and thus is promoting its vehicles to these buyers with attractive deals. The company is touting its Proton Persona, Iriz, Exora, Saga and X70 as efficient, comfortable and reliable vehicles which are suitable for e-hailing service.

As an incentive to car buyers, PROTON is offering Petronas gift cards worth RM500 for fuel on the purchase of any of the Proton models listed above. Alternatively, this same value of RM500 can be converted into a price rebate if you do not wish to accept the gift card. In order to qualify for this offer, you will need to submit a copy of a valid PSV E-Hailing license as proof and register the vehicle under your own name.

The promotion is also open to individuals purchasing a car to be used for E-Hailing by a different driver. In this instance, a Letter of Consent stating the purpose of the purchase would be required along with the full name and NRIC number of the E- Hailing Driver(s) as well as a copy of their PSV E-Hailing license as proof.

In addition to the Petronas gift card, additional rebates ranging from RM300 to RM1,500 are also being offered on selected models. The promotion will run until 31 December 2020.

“We want to make it easier for the latter group to purchase a Proton to be used for E-hailing. Therefore, if the buyer is the wife and the driver is her husband, we just need valid documentation for verification to approve the purchase,” said Fazli Hisham Shukor, Head of Corporate Sales, PROTON Edar.
