In the J.D. Power 2019 Malaysia Initial Quality Study (IQS) which looks at new vehicle quality, three Honda vehicles ranked highest in their respective segments. According to Honda Malaysia the Jazz, City and CR-V scored the best in their segments.

The Jazz and City, two of Honda Malaysia’s best-selling models, led the ranking for city compact and entry midsize segments with scores of 68 per 100 vehicles (PP100) and 59 PP100 respectively. In the Non-National SUV segment the CR-V ranked the highest for the second consecutive year with 64 PP100.

The Initial Quality Study looked into areas like vehicle exterior, engine and transmission, audio entertainment connectivity among others, and based on responses from customers on the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles. A result with a lower score reflects better quality performance.
