The Mitsubishi Triton hit an all-time high market share in January 2020, the first time in 10 years for Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles. The Triton’s market share of 22.8% in January also makes it the only one in the pick-up segment that achieved positive growth. Its overall sales increased 1.6% from April 2019 – January 2020 compared to the previous corresponding period. MMM’s fiscal year ends in March.
In January, the Mitsubishi Triton double cab was ranked number one in the pick-up truck segment in four areas i.e. Klang Valley, Melaka, Penang and Kedah, putting MMM on a positive trend to start off the 2020 calendar year.
