Kuala Lumpur, 17 April 2019 – The Ford Ranger continues to lead the pick-up truck segment in Malaysia as it recorded a market segment share of 20.1 percent in the first quarter of 2019, which is a 4.8 percent gain over the same quarter last year.
The multiple award-winning Ranger which also features first-and-only-in-class smart safety technologies is defining the segment due to its popularity with consumers in Malaysia. The Ranger comes in nine variants to suit a wide range of customers needs for work and play; from the base Ranger XL at RM103,888 to the Ranger Raptor at RM199,888.
