Scania Credit Malaysia Projects Stronger Growth For Its Financing Solutions
With increasing awareness of its financing solutions among the players in the local transport industry, Scania Credit Malaysia projects stronger growth for its financing packages in the coming year. Based on the trend of Scania Malaysia’s recent customers, Scania Credit, which is the Scania Group’s financial services provider, estimates that more customers in Malaysia will take advantage of the company’s financing solutions that can be customised to suit their business and credit needs.

As a one-stop financing solutions provider, Scania Credit Malaysia also offers insurance solutions that help minimise their financial loss, and handle the damages thus optimising uptime. Other benefits include an accelerated claims process, special waiver on loading rate of up to five years and excess rate for vehicles sent to Scania workshops.
Speaking at a vehicle handover ceremony in Kota Kinabalu, Sales Manager of Scania Credit Malaysia, Anson Phua Zhing Han said, “Customers now appreciate how to leverage the credit facilities that we offer so that they can use their cash for other investments, so it is no longer necessary for cash to be king to grow a business”.
“In addition to offering attractive and competitive terms, Scania Credit Malaysia requires minimal collateral and is able to offer fast approval so that more assets can quickly be acquired when the opportunity arises, as well as prompt personal services,” added Phua.
At the handover ceremony, Scania Southeast Asia Managing Director, Marie Sjödin Enström presented mock keys to Kotamas Oil Sdn Bhd Director, Dato’ Rays Rustan, and Syarikat Pengangkutan Bandar Raya Kinabalu (Sida Express) Director, Encik Sapni bin Sapena.

Kotamas Oil purchased 16 Scania trucks, comprising of G-series and P-series trucks for its operations. These trucks offer powerful performance and increased fuel savings in long-haul operations. They also come with fully-adjustable steering wheels to ease the stress off drivers on long journeys.
Meanwhile, Syarikat Pengangkutan Bandar Raya Kinabalu purchased two Scania buses that feature a powerful engine with higher torque at lower revs and equipped with the Scania Opticruise gear-change that promises better comfort and fuel economy while reducing clutch and synchromesh wear.
