Porsche Prices In Malaysia Revised From 1 June 2018

Kuala Lumpur, 28 May 2018 – Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has announced revised prices for its range of Porsche vehicles sold in Malaysia due to the implementation of zero-rated GST starting from 1 June 2018. The new prices will reflect the 0% GST and will be applicable until the expected Sales and Services Tax (SST) is implemented.

Porsche 718 Cayman Malaysia Test Drive 2017As an example, the 718 Cayman will see its base price reduced by RM30,566 to RM509,434, while the flagship Panamera Turbo will see a reduction of RM87,736 to RM1,462,264. These prices are based on standard specifications and exclude options, which many buyers will choose to include. The prices include all applicable duties except for registration, road tax and insurance.

“This is a special time for our customers. With the implementation of zero-rated GST, our customers can now enjoy additional savings on their dream Porsche. This also includes savings on options and all other services that we offer,” said Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Auto Performance.

Like before, these revised prices will still include SDAP’s four-year warranty and free maintenance package that includes complimentary service, parts and labour. Standard zero-rate GST implementation will also be applicable for parts and service at all SDAP authorised dealers.

In addition, the Porsche 360 Financing is also available for all new Porsche vehicles, and is an alternative to conventional financing by reducing monthly payments by up to 30% and providing flexible terms for customers who would like to own a new Porsche every 3 – 5 years..
