Special Porsche 911 GT3 Exclusively For Malaysia

Malaysia just got three very unique Porsche 911 GT3 cars, specially commissioned by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the official importer and distributor of Porsche cars in Malaysia. These exclusive cars for the Malaysia market come in Meissen Blue, Signal Green and Riviera Blue. A display car in the latter colour will be on display at Bangsar Shopping Centre from 29 March to 1 April 2018.

The cars are exclusively crafted by the in-house Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur department which specialises in bespoke modifications for Porsche owners. The owners of these Porsche 911 GT3 cars will be among the exclusive few who have a Porsche that is uniquely their own. To showcase the craftsmanship capabilities of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, these 911 GT3 are dressed in a mixture of high-quality materials such as a leather interior package featuring extended Alcantara detailing. Further, the instrument dials, seat belts and Sport Chrono stopwatch are coloured and detailed in Guards Red for a unique and sportier appearance. The illuminated carbon door sill guards and body-coloured air vents make the interior stand out further.

“To further enhance our customer experience, we specified three very unique 911 GT3 cars to give owners the chance to own a thoroughbred performance Porsche that is unique to them, guaranteeing even more head-turning moments,” explained Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Auto Performance.

“The Porsche 911 GT3 is a car that does not need an introduction. Our goal was to provide extreme sportiness, coupled with the fulfilment of individual wishes and requirements. For example, we have accomplished this through offering striking exterior colours featuring a luxurious leather and Alcantara interior, with exclusive interior colour detailing,” he continued.

The Porsche 911 GT3 is a car that is at home in urban roads and the racetrack. Powered by a 4.0L flat-six engine that’s capable of 500 hp and 460 Nm of torque, the 911 GT3 does the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds when equipped with the dual clutch PDK transmission. Because human reaction isn’t as quick, the 6-speed manual sports gearbox will get you there a tad slower, at 3.9 seconds.

The car boasts a redesigned chassis with rear-axle steering, dynamic engine mounts, adjustable dampers, and lightweight construction for improved driving dynamics. This 2-seater road-legal sports car is also 25 mm lower than the 911 Carrera S. The large carbon rear wing is just one of the design elements which contribute an extra 20% downforce for improved cornering stability, yet the car still maintains a drag coefficient like a regular 911.
