Go Auto To Produce Electric Bus
Go Auto, which produces and distributes the Haval range of vehicles in Malaysia and ASEAN, will be producing electric buses, as part of its plan to develop an EV (electric vehicle) ecosystem.
Its first batch of electric buses will be supplied to the Melaka state government in late 2017; this project is worth RM 30 million. “Go Auto is also in its final talks for several new projects involving the supply of electric buses,” said the company’s executive director Dato’ SM Azli SM Nasimuddin Kamal. “We are proud for being given the trust. We are committed in developing the EV components for the Malaysian and Asean markets,” he added.
The Go Auto electric bus will use buses from Higer, a bus manufacturer from China, and battery components from Microvast, a battery manufacturer from USA.
