Porsche Macan GTS Debuts In Malaysia

At the launch of the new Porsche 911 at the Porsche Centre Sungai Besi in Kuala Lumpur, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) also unveiled the Porsche Macan GTS compact SUV. Priced from RM 710,000 (excluding registration, road tax and insurance but including a four-year warranty and free maintenance package), the Macan GTS is fitted with a 3-litre bi-turbo V6 engine which produces 360 hp and 500 Nm of torque and 7-speed PDK dual clutch transmission. Official 0 – 100 km/h time is 5.2 seconds (5-flat with the optional Sport Chrono Package).

“The extremely sporty Macan GTS combines high level of Porsche driving dynamics with outstanding everyday utility. Like all Porsche models that bear these three letters, the new GTS version of the Macan is inspired by motor racing,” added Arnt Bayer, CEO of SDAP.

The Macan GTS features a re-engineered chassis, Porsche Traction Management which distributes power between the front and rear, a sportier Porsche Active Suspension Management system that is lowered by 15 mm, 20-inch RS Spyder design wheels in matte black finish, GTS sports seats with Alcantara centre panels, sports exhaust system and new Porsche Communication Management multi-touch display with online navigation and real-time traffic information as well as Apple CarPlay.
