Petron Launches Blaze 100 – First Euro 4M RON100 For Malaysia
Petron Malaysia is blazing the automotive scene with the launch of the first Euro 4M compliant RON 100 premium gasoline earlier today. Called the Blaze 100 Euro 4M, its Research Octane Number (RON) is the highest in the country.
Locally produced at Petron’s Port Dickson refinery, the Petron Blaze 100 is armed with Tri-Activ, an advanced triple-action formula that delivers better power, better engine protection and better mileage. Blaze 100 also promises exceptional resistance to engine knocking or pinging which is caused by uneven fuel burn which eventually leads to higher fuel consumption. The additive works essentially by breaking up the long molecular strands to more efficient combustion to give better engine responsiveness and optimum power and acceleration.
It is also touted to have exceptional cleaning action to maintain engine efficiency and optimize fuel economy which means it’s not a fuel limited to use in high performance cars (even though some members of the Lotus and Porsche car clubs got a chance to sample the fuel at today’s launch).

As a Euro 4M compliant fuel, cars on Blaze 100 will produce less emissions and will eventually contribute to improving air quality.
The Blaze 100 is priced at RM 2.80 per litre, a premium over RON 97 petrol and even Shell’s V Power Racing. It is currently available in:
