Volkswagen Beetle Bug Edition available in limited units

Volkswagen Group Malaysia has officially announced the introduction of a specially dressed up version of the Beetle as prelude to a series of new launches set to take place in the month of May. Limited to just 200 units, the Beetle ‘Bug Edition’ is priced at RM146,888 before on-road costs and is based on the 1.2 TSI version of the model – the only one still on sale following discontinuation of the 1.4 and 2.0 TSI models.

Aesthetic enhancements to the Beetle Bug Edition consists of genuine Volkswagen Bug side sills, side decals, body stripes and Bug logo. The new variant is available in five colours (Graciosa Brown, Deep Black, Pure White, Saturn Yellow and Tornado Red) and will be open for bookings at all Volkswagen dealerships nationwide starting May 2015.
