Mazda2 SkyActiv – Official prices circulate the net
The all-new third-generation Mazda2 (the first gen was never officially sold in Malaysia) is due to make its debut soon and official price lists are beginning the circulate the Internet.
To date, we have seen two credible sources on the net quote matching prices for the vehicle – first being the official Facebook page operated by authorized dealer Menang Nusantara Auto Sdn Bhd from Sg Besi, followed by an identical list from Puchong-based dealer Prima Merdu Sdn Bhd published on paultan.orgOther than the dealer’s addresses at the top left corners, the two lists are, for all intents and purposes, identical.
Information in the lists tell us that the all-new 2 will be offered in both sedan and hatchback configuration powered exclusively by Mazda’s 1.5-litre SkyActiv-G petrol engine with auto start/stop. Both bodystyles are offered at the same price of RM87,956 on-the-road with insurance. A navigation system is offered as a RM1,200 cost option.
Equipment manifest looks extensive for the money, and buyers can look forward to 16-inch alloy wheels, reverse sensors, reverse camera, leather seats, keyless entry, Mazda Connect with 7-inch LCD display, manual headlamp level adjustment, auto climate control, traction control, paddle shifters, heads-up display, and daytime running lights.
Lastly, it was also stated that both price lists are effective from 7 January 2015, meaning you can head over to your nearest Mazda dealership for enquiries.
