Free service and upgraded kit for the Audi A4
Buyers of the Audi A4, specifically the 1.8 TFSI version, will enjoy the peace of mind of not having to pay for maintenance for four years with the introduction of a new complimentary free service programme from local distributors Euromobil Sdn Bhd.
The free service package complements the 4-year / 120,000km warranty offered on all Audi vehicles beginning last year. To elaborate, the four-year warranty is a cost option extended warranty package offered by Audi AG which Euromobil slashed its margins per car to pay for. It is therefore not a third-party insurance-covered warranty and is thus fully backed by the factory.
On top of the enhanced after sales, the new 2014 A4 1.8 TFSI also enjoys additional equipment in the form of keyless entry, six airbags, and rims upsized from 17″ to 18″. Euromobil’s website claims that the total value of upgraded equipment added to the 1.8 TFSI is to the tune of RM16,000, but its listed price remains unchanged at RM235,000 on-the-road without insurance.
The A4 1.8 TFSI is an important model for Audi in Malaysia. This variant accounts for three quarter of all Audi A4 sales. It is powered by a longitudinally-mounted 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing outputs of 170hp @ 3,800 – 6,200rpm and 320Nm @ 1,400 – 3,700rpm sent to the front wheels by Audi’s Multitronic CVT.
