Updated 2014 Toyota Innova begins order taking
Order taking has begun for the newly-updated 2014 Toyota Innova, which sports a refreshed appearance. No technical details of the new model have been released by UMW Toyota Motor at the moment, although we are not really expecting any.
Continuing from before, the seven-seater Innova MPV is available with a choice of three variants, namely the 2.0E manual, 2.0E automatic, and 2.0G automatic. A longitudinally-mounted four-cylinder engine powers the Innova, supplying 134hp and 182Nm to the rear wheels through either 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions.
Based on the IMV platform that also underpins the Hilux and Fortuner, the Innova has been on sale since 2005, and had previously received updates in 2008 and 2011.
