Shell brings FuelSave tips to car washes
In its continuous efforts to promote economical driving amongst Malaysians, Shell Malaysia has taken its FuelSave awareness building campaign to the car washes by going to selected vehicle groomer outlets under Shine Shine and CARs International to promote smart driving practices.
Motorists who send their cars for cleaning at selected Shine Shine outlets in Melaka, Johor Bahru, Seremban and the Klang Valley, as well as to CARs International in Penang are offered a free car fuel efficiency check based on the Shell FuelSave Tips. These checks include inspections of tyre pressure and car boot contents, planning for the most fuel efficient route, using the right fuel and an examination of when the next car service is due.
According to Tuan Haji Azman, Managing Director, Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. and Shell Timur Sdn. Bhd, the company’s latest campaign was launched in response to the recently conducted Shell Nationwide Survey 2013 which revealed 93% of survey respondents would like to get more information on fuel-saving tips.
Shell’s customer engagement at Shine Shine and CARs International will last from 25 October to 17 November, taking place every weekend (Fri-Sun, 12pm-7pm) at participating car wash outlets located in popular hypermarkets and major shopping malls. Motorists can drive to the most convenient locations in Penang, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Seremban and the Klang Valley to get a complimentary Shell FuelSave Tips consultation from Shell FuelSave Ambassadors.
