Volkswagen Group Malaysia Announces New Director of Sales
KUALA LUMPUR, 1 October 2013 – Volkswagen Group Malaysia has announced the appointment of Mr Eric Ong as Director of Volkswagen Sales, with effect from today.
Mr Ong brings with him a wealth of knowledge consisting of more than 18 years of solid work experience, having started his career in the automotive industry since 1995. Joining the automotive industry in Malaysia in 2010, Mr Ong had former leadership roles in retail development, customer relationship, and service quality.

With him on board as a senior hire, we are confident that his vast knowledge and experience gained from being in the automotive industry for close to two decades will strongly contribute to the positive development of Volkswagen in Malaysia” said Dr Zeno Kerschbaumer, Managing Director, Volkswagen Group Malaysia.
His extensive experience in sales and dealer management will provide additional value to further strengthen the customer-oriented focus of Volkswagen activities.
Mr. Ong holds a degree in Marketing Management from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle UK.
