Volkswagen’s largest dealership in Malaysia opens in Juru
Coinciding with the launch of the all-new Golf Mk VII, Volkswagen Group Malaysia opened the largest dealership of its network at Juru, Penang, over the weekend. Volkswagen Juru, the brand’s first 4S centre (Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Shop for body and paint) is opened by a local company based in Penang, Goh Brothers Motor.
Dr Zeno Kerschbaumer, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia, described the opening as heralding a milestone for the brand, being the largest and first 4S dealership in Malaysia.
“It is good to see Malaysian companies investing in our brand Volkswagen. Investments like this are crucial for the further development of Volkswagen in Malaysia. I wish Goh Brothers Motor and Volkswagen Juru the best of success,“ he added.
The 2-storey 58,000 square feet dealership consists of a showroom, workshop and a body and paint area. Additionally, this is complemented by a complete Volkswagen customer experience such as lounges, free wireless internet access, reading materials and complimentary beverages, including 50 car park bays for customers‘ convenience.
Goh Brothers Motor was appointed a Volkswagen dealer in May 2007. Volkswagen Juru marks Goh Brothers Motor‘s third dealership in the northern of Peninsular Malaysia after Georgetown and Ipoh. The new outlet brings the total number of Volkswagen dealerships throughout Malaysia to 24.
