Vespa LX 150 limited-unit Apple Edition launched in Malaysia
Naza Premira Sdn Bhd today launched a limited 168-unit edition of its Vespa LX 150 scooter. The model is dubbed the Apple Edition, and it is named after a highly popular advertising campaign in 1969 that was used to promote the Vespa brand in Italy.
The campaign’s slogan back then read Chi Vespa mangia le mele in Italian, which sounds less elegant when translated to English – if you ride a Vespa, you take a bite out of the apple. The LX 150 Apple Edition rekindles the nostalgia of that particular campaign, and the prominent display of its bitten-apple graphics illustrate as much.
This Vespa LX 150 Apple Edition is priced at RM11,388.00 (On the road) and there are only 168 units available for purchase in Malaysia. For this Chinese New Year, limited units of the Vespa LX 150 will offered on a special promotional price of RM8,888.00. Buyers of the standard version will also receive festive ‘ang pows’ in conjunction with the occasion. Offer ends 28 February 2013.
Oh, and sorry, no free iPhones, iPads, or any of the sort.
