Mazda Launches 39th Dealership in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2012 – The launch of Menang Nusantara Auto Sdn Bhd in Jalan Sungei Besi is another sign of the coming back of Mazda into the Malaysian market. Since the signing of the joint-venture pact between Bermaz Motor Corporation and Mazda, with clear plans to go CKD of Mazda models here in Malaysia, this expansion of the Sales and Service network through the opening of new dealerships gives the brand more prominence besides making it more accessible to its customers. This latest dealership is Mazda’s 39th in the country.
Located along busy Jalan Sg. Besi, the 3S centre is easy to spot, although one can easily zoom past the entrance if one is not paying full attention amidst the normally heavy traffic along the stretch. The plus side of it is that the prime location is very easy to find; if you are travelling along Jalan Sg. Besi heading towards the North south Highway towards Seremban, it is just after the intersection of Jalan Tiga and Jalan Sungei Besi, about 200 metres after the BHP station. If you are coming into Kuala Lumpur, take the U-turn right, just after the old Sungei Besi Airport runway, and Menang Nusantara Auto is immediately on the left.
The launch of the dealership was graced by the top brass from Bermaz, Managing Director, YB Dato’ Ben Yeoh, Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd Executive Director YB Dato Francis Lee, Prima Merdu Sdn Bhd Executive Director YB Dato’ Amer Hamzah, and Mazda Corporation Malaysia Business Development, Asia and Pacific Sales Department, Overseas Division, Project Manager, Mr. Shigeo Murayama. The four directors cut the ceremonial ribbons to mark the official opening of the centre.
Menang Nusantara Auto Director, Jeffery Wong said, “We aim to provide customers fast turnaround time when servicing their cars, to ensure customer truly enjoy the Mazda ownership experience.” Menang Nusantara Auto will be displaying the entire spectrum of Mazda models in its showroom.
Involving an investment of RM3, 000,000, the 10,000 square feet facility can service up to 60 cars a day with its 8 service bays.
