The all-new Honda CR-V, which has went on sale in a number of markets worldwide by now, is likely to be around the corner although the current third-generation model remains officially on sale today. In what’s likely to be a send-off model, Honda Malaysia has announced a new CR-V Limited variant with enhanced aesthetics and equipment at a price of RM153,980.00 with insurance.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yoichiro Ueno said, “Since its introduction, the CR-V has remained popular among Malaysians for its practicality, stylishness and comfort. The CR-V is an ideal fit for professionals with an active and urban lifestyle who appreciate a premium and fuel efficient SUV. The CR-V Limited comes with a new Modulo front grille, tailgate spoiler, illuminated side steps, leather seats and built-in touch screen navigator with rear view camera.”
Propulsion is provided by the 2.0-litre R20A SOHC i-VTEC engine producing 148hp @ 6,200rpm and 190Nm @ 4,200rpm. Mated to it is a 5-speed automatic transmission, and traction goes to all fours via a full-time all-wheel drive system.
A useful safety enhancement offered with the CR-V Limited is the premium security solar film tint that protects from shattering by breakage. Maintaining enhancements introduced in the 2010 facelift, the CR-V Limited has four airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA).
