BHPetrol rolls out improved Infiniti Advanced 2X petrol

Earlier this week, BHPetrol has launched a new and improved Infiniti Advanced2X petrol, available in both RON 95 and RON 97 grades. The company claims that its latest fuel is mixed additives at twice the minimum recommended quantities for superior performance.

“At BHPetrol, we have always had a passion to bring the best fuel to Malaysians and we believe that we have lived up to this ambition. In 2008, we launched Infiniti – the double performance fuel and in 2010 Infiniti is further improved with an advanced additive formulation,” said BHPetrol’s Managing Director, Mr. Tan Kim Thiam.

Additives in the new Infiniti Advanced2X petrol include more proprietary deposit cleaning agents designed to remove stubborn carbon deposits, and friction reducing agents to minimise friction between the piston rings and cylinder walls, thus improving mileage.

“Today we take this passion of delivering the best fuel to the next level with the launch of the new Infiniti Advanced2x – for the first time Malaysians will get to experience a new petrol of premium quality incorporating the latest high performance German additives,” Mr Tan added.

On top of its additive packages, BHPetrol further claims that sulphur levels of its fuel currently exceeds the minimum Euro 2M standards mandated by the Malaysian government. Depending on shipment, BHPetrol claims that the quality of its fuel vary between Euro III and Euro IV standards.

Reports from cbt.com.my and paultan.org quote James Khoo, BHPetrol’s retail and supply director, as saying that sulphur content in shipments of BHPetrol’s fuel never exceed 200ppm, averaging below 150ppm (the Euro III mark) for the past two years. Some batches have went as low as 12ppm, which is impressively close to the 10ppm standard of Euro V.
