Mach by Hong Leong Bank caters to Gen Y banking needs

Hong Leong Bank has launched a new sub-brand dubbed Mach by Hong Leong Bank, which is claimed to embody banking needs that are specifically customized for the demand of modern Gen Y users.

Products, services and Mach by Hong Leong Bank branches are tailored for an engaging and personalised experience in line with the expectation of this segment. Customisable services, eco-friendly processes, non-intrusive high tech self-service concepts, convenient locations and fast turnaround time are said to be key hallmarks of Mach by Hong Leong Bank.

“Driven by market forces, Hong Leong Bank (HLB) innovates a ground-breaking dedicated engagement plan to connect with this segment by introducing the first modern lifestyle retail banking concept personified in Mach by Hong Leong Bank”, said Datuk Yvonne Chia, HLB’s Group Managing Director.

Two branches of the new sub-brand were simultaneously launched at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, and IOI Mall, Puchong, earlier this week. The branches are open seven days a week from 10:00am to 10:00pm. More branches are planned for the future.

With the branches, Mach by Hong Leong Bank also launched six “life starter” products that focus on pushing the limits of delivering quick turnaround time. Among the six products is what they call the Cruise Control Car Loan which provides a flexible loan repayment that is said to help save on interest charges throughout the tenure. Applicants of this package can enjoy quick loan approvals within just 15 minutes.
